Amirreza Movahedin, supervised by Dr. Christos Strydis, is one of the winners of the 2024 AMD open Hardware competition with the project named: Leveraging the Versal ACAP SoC Heterogeneity for Large-Scale Neural-Mass Brain Modeling. The project implemented Virtual Brain (TVB) style brain models on the Versal Adaptive SoC, a system designed for large-scale brain model simulations.
